Les Arcs is a ski resort in the Savoie department of France, in the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the Tarentaise Valley. It is part of the Paradiski ski area, which is the second largest ski area in the world after Les Trois Vallées. Les Arcs has 215 km of pistes, served by 50 lifts. The resort is divided into five villages, each with its own character and atmosphere. Arc 1600 is the oldest village and is a good choice for families and beginners. Arc 1800 is a lively village with a vibrant nightlife. Arc 2000 is a more exclusive village with luxury hotels and restaurants. Arc 2100 is a quieter village with a focus on outdoor activities. Arc 1950 is the newest village and is designed to reflect the traditional architecture of the French Alps.
